Northern Sound System are running a FREE 10-week course which offers accredited training in podcasting. The course will run 2 days a week and will provide opportunities to find your voice through podcasting. Through focussing on your passions in a pressure free and intimate community-based environment, you will develop skills to find and engage with an audience who is desperate to hear you.


With a respectable knowledge and passion for podcasting and media, Hannah has been involved in radio and conducting interviews for the past 7 years.

Hannah spends her days working at Northern Sound System teaching and doing all things creative industries… podcasts, social media, booking shows.

At night you will find Hannah managing a punk band or front row at a gig.

Evan is a youth work specialist with 10+ years’ experience in advocacy, youth justice, trauma informed practice and complex needs case management.

He currently works at Northern Sound System finding innovative mediums to ignite passion and creativity in young people through Music, Gaming, Visual FX, Broadcasting and Live Streaming.

and is focused on developing Original podcast content for the audio streaming platform.

Dylan Adams is the Head Of Audio at Made in Katana. An ARIA Award-nominated recording engineer, audio producer, mix engineer, podcast producer, advertising creative, and audio specialist.

During his time at MIK he has over-seen the production of podcast titles the include Who is Daniel Johns, The Inspired unemployed podcast, Full Credit and I catch Killers. He has also produced albums for countless music artists that include DMA's, Skegss, Sticky Fingers, Little May and West Thebarton to name just a few, accruing over a billion streams on Spotify and earning multiple gold and platinum records in Australia.

Learn industry standards

Learn to record and share a professional podcast, whether you have a simple setup or the use of a professional broadcasting studio. The program will cover basic hardware and audio software as well as learning to operate NSS’ state-of-the-art, industry standard broadcast studio.
